旅游：在瑞典当地，女性们如何过妇女节？妇女节来临，大使想对中国女性说些什么？
瑞典驻华大使宋莲（Helena Sngeland，以下简称“宋莲”）：瑞典自1912年起一直承认国际妇女节。自1978年以来，每年的3月8日也都被联合国和世界许多地方纪念。
但国际妇女节并不是为庆祝而存在的日子。这一天的目的是关注为妇女争取平等权利和社会中普遍存在的不平等现象。例如，查阅我们的历史书，含世界人口的50%的女性只占据了大约0.5%的历史记录，尽管全世界的妇女都为各个领域的发现和发展做出了贡献。
我想对中国女性说，大家可以在3月加入我们的在线活动“看见历史中的女性”，突出你认为应该加入到我们集体记忆当中的女性人物。对历史上的女性缺乏了解是一个全球性的问题，我们可以一起改变这种现状。
旅游：在中国，几乎每个女人都喜欢旅游和美食。你想向中国的女性游客推荐哪些瑞典的旅游和美食资源？
宋莲：我建议跟随瑞典著名女性的脚步旅行，比如波吉塔·波捷斯多特尔（Birgitta Birgersdotter）、塞尔玛·拉格洛夫（Selma Lagerlöf）和王储妃维多利亚（Victoria Ingrid Alice Désirée）。

宋莲：我给女孩和年轻女性的建议是，无论你想从事什么领域，都要相信自己，相信自己的抱负。寻找人生的盟友和导师，永远支持着其他的女性儿童或成年女性。我也建议女性学习其他语言，有机会的话可以去国外工作或学习。

Sohu Travel：How do local women celebrate Women's Day in your country? What does Ambassador want to say to Chinese women when Women's Day is coming?
Helena Sngeland：Sweden has acknowledged The International Women’s Day since 1912. Since 1978, March 8 has been commemorated annually by the UN and much of the world.
But the International Women’s Day is not a day for celebration. The purpose of the day is to focus on the fight for women's equal rights and on the inequality that prevails in society. For instance, look in any history book; 50% of the world’s population only occupy around 0,5% of recorded history although women all over the world have contributed to discoveries and development in all fields.
To Chinese women I want to say, join our online campaign #看见历史中的女性# during March to highlight women you think should be added to our collective memory. The lack of knowledge of women in history is a global problem and something we all can be a part of changing – together.
Sohu Travel：In China, almost every woman loves travel and food. What kind of tourism and food resources do you want to recommend to Chinese female tourists?
Helena Sngeland：I would recommend travelling in the footsteps of famous Swedish women; for example Birgitta Birgersdotter, Selma Lagerlöf and Crown Princess Victoria.
Birgitta Birgersdotter, known as St Bridget of Sweden, was an influential woman who in the 14th century founded the Bridgettines nuns and monks. Visit Östergötland and hike the St Bridget’s Trail between Söderköping and Vadstena, a pilgrimage path associated with Saint Bridget's life.
Selma Lagerlöf was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. She was born and raised at Mårbacka, a manor house in Sunne Municipality in Värmland. Today, the manor building and the surrounding area are kept as a memorial museum honoring her literary career.
Heir to the Swedish throne, Crown Princess Victoria is also Duchess of Västergötland, one of the 25 historical provinces of Sweden. Located in the western part of Sweden, its main city, Gothenburg, is a must in the region and the second-largest city in Sweden. You will also find lots of lakes, magnificent mountains, a rich cultural history and a peaceful nature.
The Swedish cuisine is being boosted by a powerful group of female chefs, each with a unique approach. In addition to heading kitchens at some of Sweden’s best restaurants, these chefs are keen to share their expertise and inspire others to cook more sustainably via food camps, courses and TV shows. Make sure to explore the Swedish restaurant scene, there is a lot of fantastic food to discover.

Sohu Travel： What experiences do you have to share with girls who want to make contributions in politics, economy (including tourism and food) and society in the future?
Helena Sngeland：My advice to girls and young women is to believe in yourself and your ambitions no matter what field you want to pursue. Find allies and mentors and make sure to always support other girls and women. I would also recommend learning other languages and work or study abroad if you get that opportunity.
